Build-Your-Own Sushi at Sushi U



At Sushi U, you can make your own sushi rolls! You can make your sushi just the way you like it with a wide range of fresh fish, crisp vegetables, and tasty rice.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup sushi rice, cooked and seasoned with rice vinegar
  • Assorted sushi-grade fish e
  • g
  • , tuna, salmon, yellowtail, sliced
  • Assorted vegetables e
  • g
  • , cucumber, avocado, carrot, julienned
  • Nori seaweed sheets
  • Soy sauce, for dipping
  • Wasabi and pickled ginger, for serving

Instructions:

Lay a nori sheet on a bamboo sushi mat

Spread a thin layer of sushi rice over the nori, leaving a 1-inch border at the top

Arrange your choice of fish and vegetables in a line along the bottom edge of the rice

Roll the sushi tightly using the bamboo mat, moistening the top border of nori to seal the roll

Slice the roll into bite-sized pieces using a sharp knife

Serve with soy sauce, wasabi, and pickled ginger
